MY TOP 5 HISTORICAL FICTION NOVELS

Hello lovelies,

This is a new type of post that I will be doing (along with the current overviews) on the blog.
I thought it might be fun to share some of my favorite history-related things with all of you; starting with my favorite historical fiction books. Historical Fiction is defined as: the genre of literature, film, etc., comprising narratives that take place in the past and are characterized chiefly by an imaginative reconstruction of historical events and personages. Some of the books on my list are technically considered classics and were not written as historical fiction at the time that they were published. I added them to the list because although at the time of publishing they were considered “realistic fiction”; they were written in the 1800s and therefore I consider them historical fiction. I thoroughly enjoy reading and listening to books, especially historical fiction books.
